If you want to increase your children’s reading and basic literacy skills by 100% and be better educated then point them in the direction of reading books. Get your kids reading books and they will develop healthy reading patterns that last their whole lives.
It’s a whole other world out there other than just what kids see before them on TV, computers, or video games. While these outlets definitely have their place of importance, reading a good book is like an out of body experience – a journey into whatever destination the book leads them to. This in effect, helps to make children better rounded and intelligent about the events going on around them.
In Sunny’s Adventures, a mystery book for kids, children get to journey through the investigative process with the young junior detective. They find clues and put them together to solve cases. This helps them with their basic literary, thinking and comprehension skills. Something fun turns into an educational experience as well – imagine that.
Very simply put, the kids reading books naturally increase their knowledge. Knowledge is power, reading is power – it’s not just a cliché.
